DEADW1:

Deadweight of pipeline in air just before and at node reference point

(The value given for DEADW1 on the first data line is valid for all points on the pipeline before the reference node, including start node and eventually connected pipeline. DEADW1 includes the weight of the pipeline and its contents and is the algebraic sum of deadweight in air (in negative Z-direction). DEADW1 positive means force in negative Z-direction.)

DEADW2:

Deadweight of pipeline in air just after node reference point

(The value given for DEADW2 on the last data line is valid for all points on the pipeline after the reference node, including end node and eventually connected pipeline. See also info DEADW1. If DEADW2=UNDEFINED it is assumed DEADW2=DEADW1.)

DEADW-W1:

Deadweight of submerged pipeline just before and at node reference point

(The value given for DEADW-W1 on the first data line is valid for all points on the pipeline before the reference node, including start node and eventually connected pipeline. DEADW-W1 includes the weight of the pipeline and its contents and is the algebraic sum of deadweight in air (in negative Z-direction) and the buoyant forces (in positive Z-direction). DEADW-W1 negative means force in positive Z-direction)

DEADW-W2:

Deadweight of submerged pipeline just after node reference point

(The value given for DEADW-W2 on the last data line is valid for all points on the pipeline after the reference node, including end node and eventually connected pipeline. See also info DEADW-W1. If DEADW-W2=UNDEFINED it is assumed DEADW-W2=DEADW-W1.)

Only if the calculations are geometrically non-linear, the program adapts the deadweight of a pipeline section when it moves through the local (ground) water level. And, of course, when table W-LEVEL contains data.

When table DEADW remains empty the deadweight may be calculated by the program (see Deadweight calculation).
