Maximum (elastic) shear stress over wall thickness (1)

Maximum (elastic) principal stress over wall thickness (1)

(Blank if no tensile stress)

s12min-E-M:

Minimum (elastic) principal stress over wall thickness (1)

(Blank if no compressive stress)

tmax-E-M:

Maximum (elastic) principal shear stress over wall thickness (1)

sEq-E-M:

Maximum (elastic) equivalent stress over wall thickness (1)

sHOOP-M:

Maximum circumferential normal stress due to internal overpressure (1)

(The hoop stress is calculated taking into account the outer pipe diameter D, the minimum wall thickness T-min and the load factor.)
