Import & Export Data

It is possible to export table data to an Excel file and to import table data from either a secondary database or an Excel sheet.

Info To export or import multiple tables, respectively to or from a single Excel file, please use the 'Multi Table Selection' functionality.

Info To import multiple tables from a secondary database, please use the 'Import Project Data' functionality from the main menu File > Import > Project from Secondary....

Info This functionality is available, only if a secondary database has been defined.

1.Open a data table

2.click the Table.Import.16x16 button on the data table toolbar and select 'Import from secondary database'

3.click Yes to confirm and the table's data will be replaced by the data from the corresponding table in the secondary database.

Warning If the table in the secondary database does not contain data, the table will be cleared!

1.Open a data table

3.select an appropriate Excel file

4.select the sheet from the Worksheet box

5.if the selected Excel file is created by PLE (using Multi Table functionality or using export table data to Excel file) then leave the other fields unchanged

6.click on the OK button to import and the table's data will be replaced by the data from the selected sheet from the selected Excel file.

Warning If the worksheet area defined does not contain data, the table will be cleared!

1.Open a data table

2.click the Table.Export.16x16 button on the data table toolbar and select the target Excel file

3.the currently visible data will be exported.

Info If only a subset of the data is shown (e.g. extremes or a group), only those rows of data are exported. Rows of data that are only scrolled out of view are exported.

Info It is not possible to append tables to an existing Excel file. If an existing Excel file is selected, it will be overwritten (after confirmation).
