The Toolbars

The panel title bar at the top of each table panel is showing the table name. Below it the table toolbars are located, which allow access to all table functionality.

Note that all table functions can be accessed through the top text-based toolbar. Frequently used functions are also accessible through the icon-based toolbars below.

Note further that any of the toolbars can be moved around and (un)docked by click-and-drag on its corresponding icon. All toolbars can also be modified by either right-clicking anywhere on any of the toolbars or by clicking on one of the icons.

Below is a screen capture of the table toolbars. For information on menu items and icons, see the list underneath.

Table menu items
Print...	Print data of this table panel. Note that only the visible data rows are printed. Not available in the educational version.

Import...
Import from secondary database	Imports the table's data from a secondary database.
Import from file...	Imports the table's data from an Excel file.
Export...	Export the current active (visible) table to an Excel file.
Clear	If confirmed, clears all data from the table.

Insert row	Inserts an empty data row above the currently active data row. Not available with fixed-length tables.
Append row	Appends an empty data row at the end of the table. Not available with fixed-length tables.
Clear row	If confirmed, clears all data from the currently active data row.
Delete row	If confirmed, deletes the currently active data row. Not available with fixed-length tables.

Default values	Inserts default values to appropriate cells of all data rows. Cells containing data are not overwritten. Not all tables have default values.

Cut

Copy cell data to the clipboard and clear cell data.

Copy

Copy cell data to the clipboard.

Paste

Paste cell data from clipboard.

Delete

Clear cell data.

Copy from above

Copy cell data from cell above. Cell data is not changed if there is no cell above.

Note that if the above cell has no data, the current cell is cleared!

Copy from left

Copy cell data from cell on the left side. Cell data is not changed if there is no left cell.

No action is taken if the type of data of the cell to the left differs from that of the cell.

If the cell to the left has no data, the current cell is cleared!

Toggle menu items

X-P	Toggle to 'x-coordinates'.
AX-L	Toggle to 'length-coordinates along the pipeline axis'.
AX-LP	Toggle to 'length-coordinates along the projection of the polygon lines on the horizontal X0Y-plane'.
Node	Toggle to 'node numbers'.
Element	Toggle to 'element numbers'.
Identifier	Toggle to 'identifiers'.

Toggle default	Toggle to default layout of this table.

Groups menu items

The number of menu items and their names depend on what element groups are defined either automatically or by the user (through the data table "Groups").

Only available with node- or element-based output tables.

Special menu items:
Go to row ...	Go to a specific row number.
Go to node/element ...	Go to the row containing the node or element number (in node or element based output table only). If the requested node/element is not present in the table, the next row is shown, however, that row is not selected. If the requested node/element is present more than once, the first occurrence below the currently active row is selected. If the end of the table is reached before a row is found, the search continues from the top row.
Note that it is also possible to enter "Top", "Bottom", "First" or "Last" (also abbreviated "t","b","f" or "l") to jump to that row, node or element.
Min	Colours the cell with the data minimum of each column green.
Max	Colours the cell with the data maximum of each column red.
Extrema	Colours the cell with the data maximum of each column red and the cell with the data minimum of each column green. If maximum and minimum of a column are the same, the cell is coloured blue.
Check	Tests the data table and checks for data errors. Only available for unlocked input tables.
Graphical menu items:
Visualisation	This functionality will display the configuration as a coloured pipeline. The configuration can be zoomed in and out, panned in any direction and rotated in any direction as well. This mode mainly will be used to give an insight in the results like where are the largest displacements or where are the maximum stresses located. Because only one parameter can be visualised selecting a single column is sufficient.
Table Graph	Adds a panel to the workspace showing graphs of the selected columns. For more information, see the single graph panel-help. Columns can be selected by clicking, Shift+clicking and/or Ctrl+clicking. The first selected column will become the x-axis, data from all other columns is treated as y-values.
σ-ε diagram	When either table PIPEMAT or PIPEPLS is displayed the applicable stress-strain relation for the pipe material can be shown in a graph. The stress-strain relation is defined in input table SIGEPS. When no relation is defined the bilinear curve is used. This only possible with the Material Non-Linear Model option, otherwise a straight line will be shown.
Add to Multi Graph	Adds the selected columns to the multi graph overview-panel. Columns can be selected by clicking, Shift+clicking and/or Ctrl+clicking. The first selected column will become the x-axis, data from all other columns is treated as y-values.
Add from secondary database to Multi Graph	Adds the selected columns to the multi graph overview-panel, using data from the secondary database. For more information, see the multi graph overview-help. Only available if a secondary database is defined. Columns can be selected by clicking, Shift+clicking and/or Ctrl+clicking. The first selected column will become the x-axis, data from all other columns is treated as y-values.

Options...	Display a small windows to select whether only data rows containing an extremes are shown when minima, maxima or extremes are selected, or if all rows will always be shown. If a data table panel is closed and re-opened, the options are set back to their default values.

Compare with secondary	This data table functionality enables users to compare data from the primary and secondary databases within a single table. This functionality becomes available as soon as a secondary database is opened.

Help menu items
Table Info...	Information about the data table itself, its function and usage.
Columns Help...	Information about each column of the data table and the condition(s) the data must meet.
Data Errors...	Information about table-specific errors that can occur during testing of the data table.
